Day 1: Nairobi
You will be met at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to your hotel. Optional excursion to the Giraffe Centre, the David Sheldrick Elephant Trust and/ or the Karen Blixen museum is available upon request. Relax for dinner and overnight at your accommodation.
Day 2: Nairobi to Aberdare
You will drive from Nairobi to Aberdare National Park. When you think of African game parks you usually don’t picture waterfalls, rainforests, and mist-shrouded mountains. But that’s the wonderland you’ll find at Aberdare National Park, north of Nairobi. You’ll stay in a tree hotel with views of a local watering hole, hosting elephant, buffalo, and antelope, amongst others. A truly unique slice of Kenya. You will view wildlife in evening from the balcony of your tree hotel. Return for dinner and overnight at your accommodation.
Day 3: Aberdare to Lake Elementaita
On the second day we will head on through the Great Rift Valley to the delightful varieties of birds found at Lake Elementaita. There are beautiful water birds along the lake but also great populations of black rhino, giraffes and even monkeys and baboons. You will enjoy game drive with stopovers at scenic points within the park. Return for dinner and overnight at your accommodation.
Day 4- 5: Lake Elementaita to Maasai Mara
You will depart Lake Elementaita and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. In your two nights here; you will experience quantities and varieties seen nowhere else. The reserve is renowned for its great numbers of lion and other predators. Should you be here during the Great Migration (August – September) prepare to witness an immense spectacle of crossing wildebeest and zebra populations flood into the park. Return for dinner and overnight at your accommodation
Day 6: Maasai Mara- Nairobi
You will depart Maasai Mara reserve and drive back to Nairobi with stopping for lunch enroute. Upon arrival in Nairobi you could opt for optional city excursion or stopping at hotel or airport.
