Day 1: Nairobi
You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Optional excursion to the Giraffe Centre, the David Sheldrick Elephant Trust and/ or the Karen Blixen museum is available upon request.
Day 2: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru
You will depart from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park. Here you will enjoy its waterfalls, acacia forest, and the pelicans and many other birds. You’re likely to see endangered black and white rhinos, gazelle and rare Rothschild’s giraffe sticking up their necks beyond the park’s grasslands.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru- Lake Bogoria
You will depart Lake Nakuru and drive to Lake Bogoria, which is our next Rift Valley Lake which lies just north of the equator. Lake Bogoria National Reserve is an exciting spot with hot springs, geysers, and flocks of fuchsia flamingoes lining the shores. But you’ll also find gazelle, buffalo, klipspringer, and even leopard at this unusual park. Dinner and overnight at Lake Bogoria.
Day 4: Lake Baringo- Lake Naivasha
You will leave lake Baringo and drive to Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha and its surrounding areas present us with opportunities for some closer game viewing during boat sailing, and walking safaris. You will ride in boat over the lake with views of hippos and the birdlife – many flamingos, pelicans, cormorants, fish eagle and more. Then we’ll take a guided walking safari to nearby Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, viewing a charming array of grazing gazelle, zebra, and waterbuck. For even more close-up game viewing. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5-6: Lake Naivasha- Maasai Mara
You will drive from Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara Reserve. We shall spend the 5th and 6th day here and that’s lots of time for exciting game drives over the park’s immense plains and scenic rolling hills in search of predators especially the big cats and grazers. The park is famous for sightings of lion and cheetah, so we’ll be exploring the land, the wildlife and perhaps enjoy some optional cultural encounters with the local tribespeople.
Day 7: Maasai Mara- Nairobi
You will return to Nairobi with stop over for lunch. Upon Arrival in the city you will take optional Nairobi City tour or stop at your hotel or the airport.
