Day 1: Nairobi
Upon your arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Optional excursion to the Giraffe Centre, the David Sheldrick Elephant Trust and/ or the Karen Blixen museum is available upon request. Dinner and overnight in your accommodation.
Day 2: Nairobi- Olpejeta
Not far from Nairobi, Ol Pejeta Wildlife Sanctuary welcomes you with all of Africa’s Big Five – including a large population of lion and even greater numbers of endangered black rhinos. This is the only place in Kenya where you’ll get to see chimpanzees, protected and nurtured in the Sweet waters Sanctuary. You will travel 4 hours north of Nairobi in private safari vehicle. Here our game viewing drives give opportunities to see Rhino and Chimpanzee, Elephants, Tree hyrax, White tailed mongoose, Black Fronted Dicker, Mole Rat, Bushbuck, Waterbuck, Elands. Check in your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Olpejeta- Samburu National Reserve
On the third day you will drive from Olpejeta Conservancy to Samburu National Reserve. This park surpasses many of them in its great numbers of the big cats – lion, leopard, and cheetah. Not to mention elephants. The park boasts some 900 of these great, noble creatures. And if you’d like to see some out-of-the-way species, the reserve offers sightings of the rare special five species to include Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, Masai Ostrich, Reticulated giraffe and gerenuk, to name a few. The park has also plenty of bird life. Check in your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Samburu National Reserve
You will spend full day exploring this reserve and nearby Shaba and Buffalo springs reserves. There is optional visit to Samburu tribes and culture village. Relax for dinner and overnight in your accommodation.
Day 5: Samburu- Nairobi
On this day you will travel back to Nairobi at your preferred destination within the city. Optional excursion to the Giraffe Centre, the Karen Blixen museum and/ or the Karen Blixen Museum is available upon request while in Nairobi.
