Day 1: Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your Kampala Hotel or Entebbe Hotel at 0700 hrs and depart by road to Lake Mburo National Park (the drive will take approximately 3-4 hours). If you have enough time, you will have a stopover to look at the Royal Drum makers, stand at the Equator for a photographic opportunity and also listen to some few interesting facts.
We will continue to Lake Mburo National Park, which is an extension of the Tanzanian plains having a variety of attractions. Don’t miss the extensive wetlands, rolling grassy hills, the wooden savannah and the forests, where you will interesting plants and animal species. You will have Dinner and spend the night at accommodation near Lake Mburo National Park.
Day 2: Lake Mburo to Bwindi Impenetrable Park
On your second day, after early breakfast you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a home to half the world’s few surviving mountain gorillas. You will arrive at Bwindi Gorilla Forest to have a late lunch. You will spend the night at your accommodation.
Day 3: Track Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
On your third day, very early in the morning after an early breakfast, proceed to the Bwindi park headquarters for briefing by the Gorilla Tracking guides. You will then set off for your Gorilla tracking activity in the forests of Bwindi. You will be given a Walking stick by the park rangers if you ask for it. You will then have your dinner and spend the night at your accommodation in Bwindi Park
Day 4: Drive Back To Kampala
On your fourth and last day take an early breakfast before you drive back to Kampala. You will have your lunch en route
