Day 1- Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Drive early morning towards the west from Kampala and make a stopover at the equator for photographs. Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range for much of the journey. You will take about 7 hours to reach Queen Elizabeth National Park. After your lunch, go sightseeing in the crater region – it is a marvel! You will also visit the Katwe Salt works for a glimpse into traditional salt mining. Dine and spend the night at your accommodation in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 2- Explore the Kazinga Channel
After your breakfast you will take an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is an excellent opportunity for you to see Lions, Leopards, Giant Forest Hogs, Cape Buffaloes, Elephants, Defassa Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Topi and Bush bucks.
After your lunch, it is time to enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. On this trip you will pass through the area with possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and many animals as they drink along the water edges. In the evening you will return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight say for the second day.
DAY 3- Chimpanzee Tracking
After a very early breakfast, you will head for the Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee tracking and a variety of primates. Return to Kampala after the Chimpanzee tracking. Have your lunch en route and you will arrive in the city late evening.
