Day 1- Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
You will travel from Kampala at 0800hrs and drive through the famous Luwero triangle. You will take about 8 hours to reach Murchison Falls. Drive to the park through Budongo forest on the western arm of the Great Rift Valley and you will enjoy the fabulous falls where the Nile perfects its gorgeous falls concocts a deafening roar and rainbow in a spiral of the spray. Cross the great River Nile by a ferry before you retire to the superb comfort and service of your accommodation in Murchison Falls Park.
Day 2- Murchison Falls National Park
After your breakfast you will go for a game drive. Here you will enjoy viewing Elephants, Buffaloes, Bushbucks, Lions, and a variety of bird species. After your lunch, proceed for a two-hour launch cruise up to the substructure of the mighty Murchison falls where sinister water escapes from the narrow gorge. This is an opportunity for you to see the amazing hippos, crocodiles, water birds along the river banks. Return to your safari lodge for dinner and overnight stay for the second day.
Day 3- Kampala
After your breakfast you will cross the Nile river back via Budongo forest and you will have your lunch at Masindi hotel. You may also go for optional chimpanzee tracking at Pabidi Budongo forest on day three in the morning before driving back to Kampala.
