Day 1- Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park
After early breakfast you will travel from Kampala to Kibale National Park. You will drive for almost a half day west ward via Mityana to Fort Portal, passing though verdant countryside and traditional homesteads and farms. You will find Fort Portal town resting in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. You will have your dinner and overnight stay at your accommodation within Kibale.
Day 2- Kibale Forest
After your breakfast, you will walk into the Forest with a tour guide, for primate viewing. You will start this activity at 8.00 am in the morning and for half the day you will search for chimpanzees and other primates including phoestes, Red-Colobuses, Blues, Red-tailed and grey cheeked Mangabeys swinging through the dense forest. You just can’t avoid the variety of birds, butterflies and many small insects in Kibale Forest. After your lunch, pay a visit to the Bigodi swamp eco-tourism site, this tourism site is so amazingly endowed with rare and beautiful fauna and flora. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay for the second day.
Day 3- Kibale Forest National Park Safari
On the third and final day of your 3 day Kibale Forest safari, take your breakfast early and explore the region. Engage in farm visits or cultural visits. Because the region is found in the Great Rift Valley, you will enjoy seeing the many crater lakes around. End your safari before midday and proceed to Kampala with lunch en route.
