Day 1: Travel from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla Park
Depart from Kampala at 8:00 am and head towards western Uganda. You will be able to make a brief stop at the Equator to take photographs if time allows. Along the way you can take nice shots from the vehicle of the long horned Ankole cattle, the rolling hills and terraced landscapes of the region, and beautiful panoramas that are part of Kabale District. You have a lunch break en route at Mbarara town. You will then head straight to Bwindi National park and arrive late evening. You will check in your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 – Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
On your second day, very early in the morning after an early breakfast, proceed to the Bwindi park headquarters for briefing by the Gorilla Tracking guides. You will then set off for your Gorilla tracking activity in the forests of Bwindi. You will then have your dinner and overnight at your preferred accommodation.
Day 3 – Drive Back to Kampala from Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
On your third and last day take an early breakfast at the Gorilla camp before you drive back to Kampala. Have your lunch enroute at Mbarara town.
